on my volvo s40 (2003), my sunroof looks like someone stepped on it from the outside, leaning in on side, now the sunroof wont open all the way. its makes a grinding sound and seems like the support of the right side isnt as good as the left.

when i try to open the sunroof, it begins to slide but slide crooked, pulling the right side but not the left, then stops after opening only about 1/8"

help !!!!

 

It seems common for these roofs to start sagging. When mine did, I was able to loosen the hex-key bolts that you can see from the inside, push the glass panel up into place and re-tighten the bolts.
