I have a 1998 S40 1800cc with manual transmission. After I've been idling, due to heavy traffic for some time, my Volvo goes into "crawl" mode when I step on the accelerator pedal. After giving the car a rest for 30 minutes with the engine off it accelerates normally again. Would any of you Volvo owners who also have experienced this have any advice for me?
