Now this is really getting annoying. My telescopic radio antenna is not retracting completely. It remains out of the anetenna well about 6 inches. I then can push it in with my hand.

I liked it when it did the job on its own and I did not have to touch it. I know that some of the car radio shops have a certain greese that is aviailable in small packets about the size of a Domino sugar packet. They are made for such an occasion. What are they called?

When mine started acting up I tried grease and cleaning. It finally quit altogether so I replaced it. Never heard of anyone successfully servicing the old one. Maybe someone with the proper tools and know-how can do it. Anyone here worked on one?
