Can't you just use the timing marks on it? Hard to find I believe! Heres a good guide:

Thanks for the reply what I needed to know is how the slots were in position in the back But I got it car is together and the customer already drove off I did get a chance to fab up some cam holders mad 5 sets going to put them on ebay for 50 buck a pair
Good to know you got it together.
After reading a post that said you really didn't need to lock them I did mine without the locking tool. Well, of course the spring pressure rotated them. Good thing it wasn't much and I had a mental picture of their positions.
Yes, next time I'll lock the cams to avoid the sweat.

Well thats good to know when I do my belts and tensioners in a few weeks thanks. I also read you don't need to lock them but clearly this is making hard work for yourself so I'll get a locking tool.
Not so much hard work...but it is an interference engine so if you don't get them correct it could become very expensive.
The locking tool is much less then a bent valve repair. I don't know why the posts have been loaded saying you don't need to lock them without the warning about them rotating under spring pressure.
