Timing Belt Tensioner Question...
Here's one for Tech:
This is for an '02 v40. The Vadis directions for adjusting the TB tensioner say to turn the eccentric "counter-clockwise" to full stop and then "clockwise" to the correct setting and that the indicator must enter the adjustment 'window' from the right.
The only way I can see that happening (based on the travel limits of the eccentric, which are kind of between the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock positions) is that Vadis mixed up the counter-clockwise and clockwise movements.
Is that right or am I missing something?
thanks!
