so every week or two i start up my car and it gives me a tps and map sensor code. i changed tps sensor which was reading full throttle on start up. map sensor according to OB2 reader is reading fine. what could cuase it to keep throwing these codes?????

 

dirty connectors, dirty MAP, idle air valve, air leaks, possibly a temp sensor or the ETM itself (assuming you are a post 2000 year). What year & model?

 

so the map could be dirty. not sure about the idle air valve (can that be cleaned) no air leaks that i know of cause the map reads in normal ranges. the temp sensor on start up is exactly matching the ambient air temp so im assuming thats all good. its a 2000 s40 1.9t
