I have an upsolute tune which has my car running at 11-12psi boost. 2000 s40. I have a 3 inch downpipe and a 2.5 inch straight pipe. Im still running the stock turbo with a slightly upgraded wastegate. I cant help but think that a 14t turbo would make this car have just a little extra pop. any experience with this on here?

 

you can compare to what results people have posted when upgrading turbos on the T5s and 850s. 11-12lbs is in the range of what the 12t and 14t can do but the 14t has more pumping capacity and will aid in responsiveness and top end. this would make your 1.9T similar in design to the T4s so its a good match for a stage 1+ tune. You can google around for articles on how to take a 14t off an S60 etc and align it to work on the S40.
