I have a 55 plate volvo s40 diesel sport and it keeps coming up with a fault that says ' brake failure stop safely' the engine is still running but both the rev needle and mph needle drop to zero but there is no power when pressing accelerator and then when i try to start the car again nothing happens the brakes work fine though so its a real puzzle just wondered if anyone else has had this problem please help
