Whirring Noise at any level of Acceleration
Hi!
I have a non-turbo 2006 Volvo s40. I had the timing belt replaced last year as well as he tensioner. There was a humming at idle for example when stopped at a stoplight while holding the brake which went away last year after replacing the timing belt and tensioner. Now there is a whirring noise when i accelerate even the slightest bit most noticeable when acceleration starts slowly from 0. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

It started off as a vibration in the front right engine area and now the noise is almost in synch and changes pitch when I accelerate and is most noticeable as soon as I touch the gas to about 25 MPH
The car is at a buddies whose looking at it, I'll let him know to try that
