*whew!* no valve damage... But still an issue...
Hey guys,
Previously I had a timing belt break on me (water pump, seized up) in the driveway. Well, thankfully I got the timing cover on there from fcp ; and she runs the same as she did before i started messing with spark plugs.
Installed NGK platinums (not doubles)... I know these cars are picky about plugs and im thinking ill need to order the Bosch double platinums since neither oreilly or autozone has them in stock out here.
Basically what happens is there is a "delay" of sorts when u put your foot down at idle. Is not a long delay, but perhaps half of a second before the engine responds. I've heard cleaning the throttle body can help alleviate issues, or replacement of that unit altogether with that aftermarket one which doesn't use the same throttle position sensors.... Thoughts?
The problem, I think- may be related to,the ETM (throttle body) ... Or coil packs, perhaps. I put two new coil packs on the car, and it helped big time because #3 coil pack had completely failed, throwing a p0300 code. Now it's just fine tuning ... She runs and drives great but the problem is still noticeable... Feels almost like a miss.

Well, I'm going to start with Bosch double platinums , then replace the remaining 3 coil packs. Swapping around coil packs seemed to make a difference this morning... What's strange is it ran good with one combination, then when I turned off the car, and back on again 15 mins later it ran funky...
