Default 01 puddle/courtesy light

I need to replace the light bulb in one of my side mirrors, Some call it a puddle light others a courtesy light. I've read on here how to replace the bulb but I'm not sure as to what kind of bulb it is and where I can purchase one from. I'd like to have a replacement bulb ready so that I can switch it out when I take the old one out. Also my Volvo dealer is about 40 miles and an hour drive from me and I really can't justify the time and gas going out there to replace a non essential light bulb. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone knows what type of bulb it is and where I can order it from. Thank you in advance.

check the manual, it should say but I'm not sure. Then look for the bulb on the internet. and don't go to the dealer.

Unfortunately I looked in the manual first and it tells you what type of bulb and how to replace it for everything from the vanity mirror to the high beams but nothing about the puddle lights. I also did a search on the the web and couldn't find any info there which is why I'm looking here. thanks for the advice though

According to: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...placementGuide

It's a 6418... but I'm not entirely certain that's not an interior "courtesy light"
