02 s60 part missing from rear of block
I have an o2 non terbo s60 a part is missing from the center of the block just above the center looking toward the front above the oil pan,( it is actualy in the side of the block as the engine sets sideways) is a smooth sided hole about an inch wide and deep with a mirror you can look down in it and see a 1/4 in hole at the bottom, no wires or hoses around it. when you drive very fast it blows motor oil out the hole about 3 qts in 10 miles or rev the engine to red line. The machanic who looked at it said it looks like something pushes into the hole. at first he thought it was the oil pan gasget but then he found the hole it is not a freeze plug as it blows oil not water, without knowing the part i cannot get on I have talked to Leahamn Volvo In harrisburg pa and they are baffeled as to what part is missing. I am looking for a shop manul that will show an exploded view of this engine any suggestions will help

I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago. I believe it is the connection where the turbo oil return line would go, if it were a turbo charged engine. The shop I took it to had a heck of a time getting the right "plug" to fix it. They eventually found one at the local Volvo dealer. It is not an uncommon problem. Call Tom Wood Volvo/Jaguar in Indianapolis for the part, or call Autobahn Service Center in Greenwood, IN to talk to them about where they found the part for me. I'm sorry, but I don't have the ticket from that repair to give you a part number.
