'08 S60 Autolocking question
I just bought a 2008 S60, and can't seem to find anyone who knows about the autolocking feature. When I have the autolock "on," and I stop, turn off the engine, etc... only the front seat passengers can get out of the car without unlocking their door first. Backseat people have to pull up on the door lock to get out. This doesn't seem right... is it? Any help is greatly appreciated as Volvo US customer service and three service departments have all given me different answers and are making me very frustrated with my purchase.
It's right, I have the same car, 2008, it's the door assembly, the rear doors don't have it as a safety precaution for some reason. The front doors have a pole that connects to the locking mechanism from the door handle, so when you pull on the handles it always unlocks your door. Rears are electronic only, no pole connecting the handle and locks.
