Default 2001 Volvo S60 2.0T Performance increase

So i'm a proud owner of a 2001 volvo s60 with an inline 5 2l turbo engine which on paper produces 160 hp i like the car and after a bit of thinking i came to the conclusion that i want to make this car into a "sleeper" i plan on putting on better brakes on all 4 corners as well as some mid level street legal racing tires possibly also changing the suspension to something a bit stiffer. So this takes care of stopping and turning but now i need the GO as a student my budget is quite limited but i think i could cough up around 2000-2500euro to spend on the engine itself and i would like to have around 250-300HP (The more the better but i want the car to be my daily driver so it must be reliable) And here comes my question what are the weak points in the engine/transmission ? And where can the most power be gained without killing reliability. I have taken care of the car for 7 months now changing engine oil as well as coolant. The car has been owned by my parents for 3 years before i got it. They got the car with 77.000miles now it has 113.xxx miles so i know for a fact the car was taken care off and i trust that the engine is in good shape. I will send it to a mechanic close to me for the Stage 0 test to see if the engine and transmission can handle the upgrades. So what are the first thing's i should upgrade in the car ? Links to car parts as well as videos with information will be very helpfull
