2001 Volvo S60 - Can't Turn Key in Ignition
I can't turn my key. It won't go to position 1. What I have tried:
1. Jiggling the key
2. Re-inserting the key (multiple times
3. A little extra force
4. Flicking the shifter button (in case it was stuck)
5. Pressing brake
6. Pressing gas
7. Disconnecting and reconnecting negative battery cable
8. Tried other key
9. Get out of car, lock it, unlock, and try again (multiple tries)
10. Cussing at it
Any ideas? Is this locking tumblers or whatever?

don't use grease!
grease collects dirt and dust and will eventually wear out your tumbler, if you already have don't do it again instead go to home depot and get some graphite powder this is designed to spray in key locks and it an excellent lubricant best of all it extends the life of your ignition! whereas grease will (in long term) do the opposite and can cause it to stick

This scares me a little my SRS light has been on for some time and I can turn the key fine....IF I have the key in on a certain side...its strange. If I put it in the other way, it wont turn, but if I take the key out and flip it, it'll turn........
Once I couldnt get it to turn period and I was NOT going to force it, but my friend wiggled the steering wheel and I was able to turn it fine.
