I bought a 02 S60 and it only came with one key and one key fob, the key does not look electronic, so I can just go to local locksmith, correct?

As for the key fob, it looks like I can get aftermarket, does volvo dealership need to do the programming or just any alarm/audio specialist?

Thanks everyone for your help. I found a local Volvo mechanic (not dealership) who says he has the same key making/programming equipment that a Volvo dealer has and his prices are about half of what the dealership wants.

 

did you get a new key, how much did you have to pay. Can you give me the suppliers number or web site address.
