2002 S60 T5 Rear wheel well space
My S60 seems to have a lot of space between the top of the rear tire and the bottom of the wheel well. How are you guys eating up that space? Lowering springs, taller profile tires? Thanks Ralph

additional information. The clearance between the top of the tire and the bottom of the wheel well opening is 2.5 to 3 inches depending on where I park it in my drive. Is that the normal spacing for that year S60 with stock size tires mounted?
i have been looking at the Eibach for sometime and have talk to guys that have both and seen both springs in person the Elevate are lower but buy a small amount.Eibach is the way to go. Just remember that springs will bring any weak link in the suspension right up. Make sure that your struts and shocks,end-links control arm bushings are all in good shape. Just an FYI there are always guys posting that put lowering spring on their car starts to clunk and bang because of weak parts.
I have an 03 AWD witch is higher than your because of the Haldex AWD in the rear. I put a tape on mine today to see the height its 2.5+ so yours is a little higher that it should be but that is because in my best guess that shocks have seem better days.I just replaced my front struts with KYB kit from European Car Parts Online Catalog & Free Shipping | FCP Euro and now my front is 1+- So yes yours is a little higher that it should be but the suspension(shocks, struts) should be replaced at 100k. GL and take a look at FCP for parts cant beat the price and speed in shipping is Great.
Do you have lowering springs on your car? Have you replaced the rear shocks? I see you're located in Boston, I grew up in Somerville and lived between there and Cape Cod till 03 before moving here to Tampa.
