I have a 2003 Volvo S60 and the check engine light came on, had the code read and it was the MAP sensor. Before I could get it fixed my car cut off in the middle of driving, got the sensor replace, drove it for about 5 days and my check engine light came on again on my way to work. On my drive back home from work my car cut off just like before so I had it towed back to the mechanic and when he looked at it the next day the car did perfect. No check engine light, and he drove it all over and it never cut off. Picked my car up and the check engine light came on and had the code read and it said O2 sensor. I don't think the O2 sensor will cause the car to shut of like it did. Can someone please shed some light on this for me.
