Today's my first attempt to change brake pads...the instructions look simple enough, BUT I'm already stuck. I can't figure out how to remove the lock pins. I tried rotating them both directions, pressing down on the clip and using another tool to push on them, other stuff...

Any help is appreciated.

 

got it... was tapping to gentle. better safe than sorry.

 

I guess you were talking about the 2 pins that require a punch?
