Hi guys. New to the forum. Just bought a 2012 s60 with 38000 miles from a dealer. I notIced that no lights were coming on like a seatbelt light or when the car starts no warning message lights. The blinkers and high beam lights come on and the speedo and tach and everything in the info screens do also. When I got it home and read up on things, I found out about the ignition mode in ignition II. I put the key in the slot and held the start button and the lights all come on but the check engine light does not turn back off. When the car is running there is no CEL. does anyone know what this could mean? Is it normal that a CEL is on in that mode but not when the car is running? It seems to drive fine and I do love the car so far but now I’m worried.

Anyone have any ideas? Drove the car all day today. No cel when it’s running but still stays on during the ignition II mode when everything else goes off.
