Default 2013 S60 rear door not latching

My door wasn't latching. putting a screwdriver in the latch mechanism and forcing it to the closed position and it just opens right back up as if someone is pulling the handle. Figured it was problem with the actuator. Got a new actuator and it does same thing. Connected to electrical and removed from car they both don't stay in closed position.

recommendations?

ok I feel like an idiot... was a piece of shipping rubber in the handle pull mechanism keeping new one from resetting...

got the part in and all put together.

Disassembly time was about 30-40 min Re-assembly exempting the time I spent messing with the part before I removed the shipping rubber was about 30 min.

The volvo dealer wanted to charge me 4 hrs labor and $250 for the part.

Purchased part online from OEM dealer for 192.45 and 1 - 1.5 hrs labor with different dis and reassemble times. If I was able to do it in that short of time the dealer shop should be able to do it in significantly less having experience with the car.
