2013 S60 t5 driver door won't latch
I have a 2013 S60 t5 with 68000mi. Upon getting out of the drivers side this morning the door wouldn't latch closed. I live in Arizona so cold weather is not an issue. I tried spraying lube up into the latch without any success. I also tried to take off the door panel to see if something just came unattached but there is some kind of additional panel under the door panel in the way that the window seems to be attached to. Please help if anyone has any insight into my problem.
Any other advice for this situation? I'm in Texas an it's 1000 degrees outside, so my issue is not the cold, as mentioned in the other threads. I have tried the valet key and spraying lubricant into the mechanism - no change. Pushing the driver's side latch with a screwdriver -- it does not latch shut the way the other doors will.
Anything else to attempt before I replace?
Is replacement fairly straightforward?
