2002 S60 AWD. I recently replaced my rear wheel bearings, and since then my ABS and Traction Control lights have been lit and a service message also. Any ideas how this happened? I did have to do one side at a time, the light came on after replacing the passenger side, the driver's side was done the next night.

 

Did you use Volvo parts?

 

No, magnetic rings are on the replacements if that is what you are wondering.

I figured that the light may have been thrown because of the mismatch. Different electrical values from the sensors outside a predetermined range.

 

sounds like the tone ring is missing or not aligned or ?

 

I'd bet it's the new hubs. I've seen it before when customers bring in cars after they or some shop put some cheap hubs from China on.
