Default advice requested after daughter backed into a post

Isn't there an automatic gas shut off valve on an '03 S60? daughter backed into a post and we can not start the car. We have 3 volvos and I remember something about this when my wife backed into a car in our driveway some 6 years ago. If it were not for the super downpour of rain today, I would have taken the time to search this out myself. Hopefully there is one and I would like kniow where it is.

rain has stopped and sun is out, but know one knows this? Sure hoping to get a yes or no before I drive 20 miles to try and get the 60 back on the road.

I am new to the volvo forum, but I am very familar w/ another vehicles'.
Maybe I am in the wrong section to connect w/ V. owners who like to use a wrench. If there is another section for me to thread into, could someone give me a suggestion of where to go?

anyone?

It certainly would make sense for Volvo to have an inertia cut-out switch, since they are touted as being the safest car in the known universe.
I know Ford typically placed the cut-out switch inside the trunk somewhere near one of the rear corners, behind the lining.
I haven't thought to look in the Volvo.

thank you for your input.
This one suprised me, but none of my 3 volvos have the inertia cut off switch.
But thanks for your thread.
