Alright guys I got a 04 S60 2.5t SE and over the past 2 or 3 days the alarm has been going off without anything triggering it off and tonight there was a ticking sound coming from the engine drivers side a little black box which looked liike the brains of the car or in that area. Even when the engine has been turned off some 5 hours now the ticking or tapping noise is still there my brother seems to think the alarm problem and this arelinked (immoboliser??) is he right does any one know what the tapping/ticking noise is and how it van be stopped in the first place and what I need to do top remidy the problem.

Could be a bad alarm siren.
