Default Alternator voltage reg prob
Hi, I'm kind of new to the site so I hope I'm posting in the right spot: I have a 2006 S60 sedan and the alternator pully sheared off. I bought a new Alternator from AutoZone and after 4 hours got it back together. My dash lights look like a Christmas tree still. The dealer says I have to buy my atlernator from him- $600+.

Any advice??

Were the plugs on the wiring harness the same? Have you put a voltmeter on it and see if it's putting out?
