On my 2005 volvo S60 2.0T, i have issues with front door windows. when triying to raise wondow fully, the window starts/continues windind down automaticaly as soon as it reaches the full raise but when winding it don, everything working fine. that means if i want the window to stay up/close i have to keep holding the knop until the window if fully raised and stopped otherwise, it will not function automaticaly. what coud be the problem? it started with driver door and then later the pasenger door.

second query, is there a six speed gearbox/transmission to replace the five speed one? if yes where can one find it and what change has to be done before replacement?

 

the windows need to be re calibrated. you can try holding the window up at the futhermost upper postion for about 10 seconds to see if it calibrates. ive never seen it done on those but you can try. if it doesnt work then you have to go to the dealer to get it calibrated
