So I had a 2001 Volvo S60 non-turbo base-model and last month a moron decided to destroy my baby.

Well, a few days ago I ran across a 2007 Volvo S60 2.5T.


Now I did a radio on the other Volvo, but this car seems to be slightly different.

First, I have the rear parking assist sensors and on the radio it does have a message that says its active when in reverse. Not sure what that means radio wise.

Second, according to what I read, I have to bypass the factory amps.

Third, I lose the center speaker unless I get a single channel amp and wire it in.

Fourth, I know changing the radio throws a code. Any way to spoof the computer into thinking everything is copacetic?

I want to do a dual-DIN radio, possibly a touchscreen. Since I have an iPhone 5 and want full enhanced app control - my home theater guy is going to let me know what is around after CES (which started today). The current offerings are kind of weak and don't like iOS6/iPhone5 and the new connector.

Is their anything I am missing? Things to look out for, etc? Advise?
