This is in my V70 but since we share some sheetmetal I figured I'd ask here.

The drivers side latch releases but the passenger one doesn't.

I got the grille off and was able to unbolt the locking mechanism but there is not enough clearance for it to come out this way so I had to bolt it back in.

No matter how many times I yank the cable it just doesn't release.... I soaked it in rust penetrant and lubricant .. still nothing.

Any ideas? I've already considered the plasma cutter but I'd like to leave that as a last resort.
