I have a 2001 S60 T5 that is up for a PA state inspection this month. The brake pads and rotors are worn but I am not sure they need replacement quite yet. Does any one know the minimum thickness specifications or have an idea where I could find them?

 

Front and rear pads minimum thickness is 3.0 mm.

Front discs (rotors) minimum thickness is 23.0 mm or 23.8 mm when installing new pads. For 16" discs minimum thickness is 25.0 mm or 25.8 mm when installing new pads.

Rear discs minimum thickness is 10.0 mm or 10.7 mm when intalling new pads.
