The Bulb Failure indicator light keeps flashing (2-3 minute) on an off on the dash. Volvo dealership searched all bulbs and found nothing wrong, local mechanic as well. Any ideas?

 

Clean the bulb sockets with sandpaper and wire brushes, it solved my problem. (So far!)

 

OR one of your Bulbs is about to go...... That was the first issue I had with my 850 right after purchasing it last year. Went to Walmart and replaced all the bulbs for under 10 bucks. I looked thru the old bulbs and all were ok. A few were dark, so I figured one was going, plus whom knows how old they were to begin with. Considering the dealer wanted $25 for one, I went ahead and changed them all..

 

Does anyone know what is the highest power bulb you can use in the front headlights? Don't want to melt the lens but would like as much light as possible!
