A/C cooler shuts itself off

A/C cooler shuts itself off
In the Texas heat, my a/c is on pretty much all the time. I had the system flushed and topped off last fall. I often find that while the system is "on," the coolant will shut itself off (blower stays on), then cycles back on after several minutes (that distinct fluid sound, running through the pipes). It happens first thing in the morning. It happens in the heat of the day. It happens all the sudden after working just fine for several minutes.
Not sure if it is related, but the temp gague will sometimes say its 32 degrees outside (complete with snowflake icon) even when it is nearing 100.
I also have the funky right-side-blows-hot issue I've read on other posts.
Praying for cooler weather....

RE: A/C cooler shuts itself off
(32 temp reading) =Check the passenger door switch (PDM)for corrosion. Unplug the connectors and look for blue-ish green build up.The outside temp sensor is located in the passanger mirror and is slaved to the PDM.
(Cold left/Hot right) Underchargeing causes this don't know why. Other possible causes are a bad evaporator vavle or a calibration issue with HVAC motors.
Are these two seperate problems or do they happen toghter?
