Ok, so last week i took my 03 s60 in to have the a/c recharged by a "volvo specialist" now im having some really weird issues. He told me that my pressure was fine but he added a little more refrigerant in for good measure. they didnt charge me for anything which was cool, but i immediately started noticing problems. First was my engine fan was being really loud, but it kinda went away. the second more troubling problem is when im driving around town, with stop lights and such, i will start to slow, put my clutch in (forgot to mention its a standard) and then i get a horrible grinding, air hornish, rubbing noise and vibration from under the hood. Possibly my a/c compressor locking up and the belt grinding against it?? Thoughts?

 

Pull the belt and spin the parts. If you feel looseness or binding that would be a place to start. However, if it's clutch pedal related, maybe you have a clutch problem and it's just a coincidence on timing.
