Default car died and now cranks but won't start. Fuel Pump?

Hello , 2012 s60 with 102,000 miles. Drove car 100 yards and engine cut out..no warning or sputtering. Now cranks but will not start. Is it Fuel pump or Fuel Pressure Sensor...or any other thoughts? Thanks for your help and suggestions

could be fuel pump, sensor, fuel pump relay or even the crank position sensor. have you tested for fuel pressure when starting up? did you scan for any stored fault codes?

No fault codes because I replaced the battery just before this happened. I am trying to replace crank position sensor. Thanks for your advice,
Kendall

Did you smell or hear anything weird before the engine stopped?
Also, I’d suggest checking the spark plugs and ignition system. If there's no spark, the car might not start.
And check the fuel quality. If you filled up recently, bad fuel or water contamination in it could mess up the engine.
