Default Climate Control Issues

Today while I was driving the climate control started operating itself. The fan was set to low but started blowing at full force. The air would come out hot for a few minutes and then cold. The air system is totally nonresponsive to the controls, and the fan continues to run at higheven when the engine is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition.

I ended up pulling the fuse for the climate control system so that it would not drain my battery. Any suggestions on what is the issue?

I am hoping that it is just a software issue that needs a new update.

Thanks for any info

Took it into the dealer and they diagnosed the problem as a software issue. They updated the computer and I was good to go. But this fix has only lasted a day, as once more the climate system is nonresponsive to the fan control, and the battery was completely drained when I went to start it this morning.

So I am going back to the dealer to try and get a real solution to this vexing problem.
