Default Clutch & Flywheel HELP!!!

I have a 2012 Volvo V60 1.6D 67k on the clock. out of the blue the other day I believe my clutch gave out can not select any gear whilst engine is running (cant force lever into gear). I experienced no clutch slippage prior nor had any burning clutch smells. I did have a clutch groan but only occurred when cold/wet I assumed condensation on the plate as when it warmed it was fine. (possible release bearing fault now thinking)

I am aware it will more than likely be a fault clutch or release bearing as there is still resistance in the pedals and fluid levels are good. however what I want to know is do I need to replace the Dual Mass Flywheel. I had no issues with any vibration prior or noise from flywheel but I am also aware most garages will want to replace the flywheel with the clutch a cost I am not sure I can afford. the car has only done 67k as well so not high mileage

not sure I follow - are you saying the clutch wont disengage? I'd check to make sure the linkage (not sure your model's set up ie hydraulic or cable) or internal to the throwout lever or pressure plate. Given the DMF goes for 500 USD or more, I'd probably inspect or find a shop that can test it out and resurface if need be. My sense is there's something amiss with the release mechanism not the plates.
