We have either a blown head gasket and /or cracked head in our 2002 S60 2.4T with 137K miles. Head still on currently. The mechanic (highly recommended) says that his machine shop guy can fix the head if it is cracked and everything will be OK. We are trying to decide whether to drop another 2K into this car, which also includes a new radiator. He is estmating about $1000 (just gasket) to $1500 (repair the head), and $400 to $500 for the radiator. This thing has been a high maintenance money pit, but the wife still loves it. Anyone had experience with this? Any advice would be great. Thanks
