Update. Tried another computer, still NO start. Anyone know it the computer locking mechanism has any electrical connection. I tried to start while lock was disengaged. This locking system really leave something to be desired even with the re1quired special tool .

Any suggestions -- probably will have it towed soon.

A used Engine control unit or CEM (or many other modules) will not work in your car. They are not plug and play - they are tied to the VIN of the car.

Thanks Hoonk, I did see a note the throttle needs to be re-computed. P0336 code (crank position) is no longer shown.

Finally answered my own question in that the ECM should be locked into position for operations. I had to disassemble the module box to get locks open, due to badly worn system, and noted the locks seem to actually pull ECM down engaging pins into position. Put old ECM back -- it was starting briefly, but now no start.

NEED help here as now going to the FPCM, but unable to locate. Supposedly the FPCM is on the passenger side, rear door area, on top of the fuel tank, but it is not there or in the trunk -- where did it go -- anyone know where to look?? Youtube has demo for metal gas tank, but I have some type of composition material and tank leaves no space on top.

Any other ideas for this NO start. Thanks

If you don't have a fuel pressure sensor on the end of the fuel rail (and a 2002 does not) you don't have a fuel pressure control unit. You are grasping at straws - guessing at stuff that your car does not even have.

Sorry, not really sure what to suggest - Need more concrete info.

Thanks for all comments.
Tried to keep it out of shop, but finally relented and had towed.. Between repair shop and dealership, who installed new fuel pump, it was becoming a mechanical foot ball with no goal insight -- thus was given final blessings and sent to salvage.
