Door Locks
I recently bought a 2013 S60 FWD T5 with about 110,000 miles on it.It runs fine, but it does have a few annoying problems.
One problem is I cannot lock or unlock ANY door on the car without the key fob. I can lock or unlock from the inside no problem. When unlocked the doors open just fine.
But if I do not use the button on the key fob I would not be able to lock or unlock the door from the outside..
The trunk lock seems to work fine.
Any ideas?

Are you saying - the physical emergency key, when removed from the remote and turned in the drivers door tumbler does not unlock the drivers door? (and will electrically unlock the other doors/trunk if working properly)
No. I've never actually tried the emergency key.
If the door is locked, and I am outside the car, the only way it can be opened is with the unlock button the key fob.
Usually, as long as the key is on your person, you should be able to unlock and open the door by placing your hand on the handle.

My 2015 xc70 had a similar problem and the antenna above the headliner for the keyless/tpms fixed it. Here's a thread on Swedespeed discussing another similar problem.
