Hi, New to the forum. I have a 2004 s60 and the check engine light has come on. The dealer today said it is code ECM640A for the CVVT. They reset and said if comes back on then I likely need to replace the CVVT hubs and solenoids for $1100, but also suggest if they do this repair to also replace the timing belt as well. The dealer is pretty sure this will happen in the next day or two when the car computer does a cold start systems check. What is the best course of action if the check engine light comes back on? Is the car still safe to drive? I have not noticed any change in car's performance yet. Thanks.VCH
