Default Electronics module problem?

2002 S60 T5, purchased new May 2002, 42K mi: When I use the key fob to double click right front passenger door does not unlock, no power to the window lift from that door OR driver door AND the outside temperature indicator shows (--). The next time I try it (after 10+ minutes) everything works normal. Intermittent problem, usually occurring at the 1st try each day. Today something new: The doors (+R front passenger door) all unlocked with the key fob, but no power to the window lift as before and outside temp indicator was still (--). Sporadic problem. Local dealer shop says it might need a 'repair download'. Is this an electronics module issue, or could the ignition switch be dirty/faulty? Help. >> Other that that the car is great! An excellent performer and super gas mileage (34-36mpg highway @70mph).

Could be a Software problem or a Door module problem.
The window switch is Actually a Module.
