RE: emission and dipped beam failure
Hi climber.
I once had the emissions warning go off in my car for a few days. It was strange because it showed up intermittently, mostly at cold startup. I figured it was due to poor gas. I let my car get close to empty then pumped in some shell premium with a bottle of fuel system cleaner. That got rid of the message. The car gets mostly regular gas now and I haven't seen the message for more than a year and a half. If yours persistsafter a few tanks, then you may need to start replacing parts.
As for the shunt, the computer is up under the dash to the left. I'll provide a link because I don't have first hand experience. The location of the shunt should be the same.
