Default extend or not to extend

Greetings fellow volv drivers….my 06 S60 are coming close to the warrantee max of 40k miles. Is that the correct max of miles for the standard Volvo warrantee? Is it worth extending the warrantee for a price of over 2k? Just don’t want to get caught with a crazy expense in the future…..thanks to all for your support…..sb

Default RE: extend or not to extend

Your warranty is probably good for 4 years, 50,000 miles.

That said, extended warranties will not pay off for most people--otherwise those companies wouldn't be able to pay salaries, commissions, and dividends. Odds are probably about one in three that you'll "get your money back." They're mostly worth it if you simply don't want to have to worry about a major repair happening.
