Extended Warranty?

Extended Warranty?
Hi, I posted in another thread about having my slave cylinder go out two weeks after buying my Volvo. It's a 2007 S60R, 6-speed manual with less than 30k miles. I was stoked to learn last week that the dealer I bought it from, AutoQuest in South Seattle, would cover the repairs even though we had talked about an extended warranty during the sale and I turned it down.
Side note: These guys have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. If you're in the Seattle area and looking for a Volvo, I highly recommend them!
So I get to pick it up tomorrow. When I called my sales Guy, Cale, he brought up the extended warranty. Truth is, I was already thinking about this, so I don't consider it a cheesy sales move. He said it would run $2300 and would cover 5 years or 100k miles, bumper to bumper minus typical maintenance items (brake pads, filters, etc), all performed at a certified Volvo repair facility. This seems like a pretty solid deal to me, considering this current repair would've run me 2k alone.
Curious to hear the community's thoughts on it.
Thanks,
'Phish
