Default Had Timing Belt Replaced, Now questions and need help....

I recently paid to have my timing belt replaced and the mechanic calls and said he did it but now the 2001 S60 cant get into gear. Is there anything he could have done wrong during the timing belt install that would keep the car from going into Reverse and Drive?

It goes in reverse sometimes, but not for long. It's hard for me to understand this type of situation.

I took the car in for a timing belt replacement and now I cant even drive it out of the mechanic's shop. Suggestions on fixing the car? Handling the situation?

Also, I had the upper engine mount replaced...

I think the transmission might have just gone out. They are kind of known to go out like that.

check on top of the tranny from the engine bay and see if the shaft that moves the gears has not come out of its groove.
