Hello everyone, ive got a 2004 S60 with 40k miles. My car when sitting for several hours takes a while to start, and by taking a while I mean the engine cranks for 3 to 4 seconds before finally turning over. Sometimes after it does turn over it lugs and chugs and hesitates real bad before finally smoothing out. The check engine light never comes on and once it's running, it seems fine. Any ideas?

 

Maybe the fuel pressure is bleeding back into the tank.

 

Might be a clogged fuel filter. Have you noticed any missing power when in higher RPM's?

 

I have noticed a slight diference in high RPM performance. I'll check the fuel filter. Thanks for the help.
