Hi I've got an automatic 2005 S60 2.5T. The shift button is broken and so its not always easy to shift in and out of park. I've seen online that I can replace the shift lever. I just want to confirm that the way to do this is to put the parking brake on, turn the key, put my foot on the foot brake, put the shifter in the lowest gear and then just pull firmly and it should all pop off.

Is this correct?
