Default How to replace B pillar trim cover, right side window?

In a very strange twist of events, while mowing my lawn the other night I ran over something like this. I can't find the exact thing, but it was pretty large. My best guess is that the Verizon guy must have dropped it when going back and forth to his truck to do my recent install. Oh well, honest mistake I suppose.

I did of course notice running over the thing, because sparks and noise. But I didn't realize at the time that the bolt apparently flew out from under the mower, bounced off something and eventually hit my car. I would have never known if my wife didn't find the bolt in more or less the logical landing spot in the driveway. It did this:

I've found the replacement here:

2011 Volvo S60 3.0l 6 cylinder Turbo Trim panel. Bpillar, Exterior - 30784002 | Volvo Parts Webstore, Oak Park IL

but I'm a bit at a loss as to how to replace it. Anyone have some tips?

Default Help / update exterior door b pillar trim

Missing b pillar
B pillar trim piece backside and clips
Looks like I’m in the same boat. After highway drive, stopped, found this exterior door side trim Pillar thing 2/3 disconnected. From a dent assume a rock or debris smacked it good!
loookng at it, all three clips are intact but 2 need to be glued back in place on the trim piece i assume before I can attempt to reset in place. So, what’s the trick for putting it back in place?
It looks like plastic tabs have to slide and then push up or down to lock in place. but no clue how to get the tabs slotted into the holes first. Do I Need long screwdriver or some other tool to push tabs? Any help much appreciated.
