Default How to remove this back molding?

Look at the pictures. I want to remove the light-gray molding below the bumper. I think it looks better without it, like on the older models. I didn't know that it went around the whole back, covering the exhaust. The whole thing seems to be clipped in and glued in. an I just rip it off? It also looks like its attached to the mudflaps with a special screw. Can I just take the mudflap off too? Can someone post me a picture what yours looks like, if you have this piece removed?

I have a 1990 wagon that I already removed all the rubber from, everything even the stuff on the doors. You will have to weld the holes shut or be left with big holes when you do.

I am in the middle of doing a trim delete on this green wagon too.

Looks nice. I will use bondo on the holes just like I did with the door trim.
