Default Interior Buzzing?

I've got some buzzing in the interior that I can't locate, 03 2.4T. Seems to be associated with the radio at medium volumes or up naturally and from lower frequencies. Seems to be coming from the passenger side, but these things can be tough to locate. I've tried to check everything I can reach while driving, but nothing seems to stop it. Any typical suspects to look for?

Also seems a speaker may be blown (probably tweeter), but not sure if it really is or just crappy reception. Have to try a CD I guess.

Don't think so, seems like it's up high near the headliner, but with these things it's always hard to pinpoint.

Maybe the clip on the A-pillar panel that holds papers by the windsheild?

I solved that one by putting a small silicone self-adhesive cabinet door bumper between it and the glass. Works like a charm and still have the parking pass functionality! The sound seems to come from the passenger side even higher than the parking clip. The clip rattle was more road bump related, this buzz is more radio sound related.

Do you know if anyone has ever had the A-pillar panel off?

Check the overhead display plastic thingy, on the headliner near the rear view mirror. I had the same noise, and it's coming from that in my S60.

I thought it was roof console, but no fumbling with it during driving made it go away. Now I think it is more road noise or engine vibration causing it, not the radio so much. Plus I think it now may be located more around the B-pillar or pass. back seat! Really need to get someone else to drive while I poke around.

I had a mid-volume bass induced buzz from the rear passenger side of the car as well ... I thought it was a blown speaker, but I poked around in the back and traced it to a rattley mid-position shoulder belt tensioner. I haven't had it back to the dealer to get it looked at yet.
